Screen-Guided Nozzle Centering for Fiber Laser Cutting Heads. The BOCHU MCD100 combines image capture, real-time observation, nozzle recognition and red-light coaxial detection in one portable device. Its integrated 4.5-inch screen shows the nozzle and red-light position directly, so the operator can complete the centering workflow without relying on a phone, Wi-Fi connection or an external display.
How the MCD100 Centering Workflow Works
During the documented procedure, the high-power laser beam remains off and the red aiming light is turned on. After capacitance calibration, the operator positions the MCD100 at the specified 1 mm following height and works through the on-screen guidance. The cutting head then performs automatic mechanical centering. The process requires operator control and should not be described as unattended or one-click centering.
Integrated Display and Recognition
The device uses a 1920 × 1200 imaging system to recognize the nozzle and measure the red-light offset. The manual specifies nozzle-diameter recognition accuracy of ±0.05 mm, red-light offset recognition accuracy of ±0.02 mm, repeatability of ≤0.02 mm and absolute accuracy of ≤0.05 mm. These are device specifications rather than a guarantee of final cutting tolerance.
Designed for Workshop Maintenance
The MCD100 has an integrated 180 × 80 × 82.5 mm body, weighs about 1 kg and is rated IP64. It uses a 21700 battery and supports USB charging or a 5 V / 3 A adapter. The package includes the device and a USB Type-C to Type-A cable; the power adapter is not included.
Compatibility Check Before Ordering
Universal compatibility with every cutting head has not been established. Send Lasvio the cutting-head brand, complete model and a clear nozzle photo so we can check the application before shipment.
